ESSFA Suture and Knot Tying Workshop

This training was designed for the practitioner to learn, practice and become proficient with the three knot tying methods and six basic stitches and stitching patterns. The fundamentals of square knot placement and knot security as well as helpful hints and time saving tips are covered. You will also be taught basic instrument handling along with six different stitching patterns. Included with the workshop is our Suture and Tying Kit. You will learn how to configure this kit for the various forms of training during the workshop. You will then be able to continue your practice and training with the kit until you master these techniques. This is a value added addition to this workshop essentially allowing you to practice as much as you need!

First Assistant at Cesarean Section Workshop

Cine-Med is proud to present the Assistant at Surgery for Cesarean Birth Workshop. This eight hour workshop has been designed to teach the hands-on techniques needed to demonstrate core competency when performing in the role of First Assistant for C-section surgeries. This workshop will allow you to practice the techniques listed below and put them to the test when you perform a cesarean section skin-to-skin on the life-like models provided for this workshop. A video demonstration is viewed showing the techniques commonly used in this surgical procedure, after which you will be taught the reasoning behind the techniques as well as helpful hints and tips that will aid you in performing them. This workshop is a must for any mid-level healthcare professional who participates in Women’s Health. The number of cesarean births is rising and this workshop was designed to keep you on the cutting edge of the industry by preparing you to perform in this capacity.
